Meet Dr. Okuniewski

Dr. O is a Michigan native who is now living in West Michigan with her husband, two boys, dog, and a barn cat.

She grew up in Kalamazoo, earned her Biology degree at Kalamazoo College, and went on to complete medical school and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Michigan State University. She is board certified in OBGYN and Lifestyle Medicine.

She has 17 years of ObGyn experience and currently serves as the ObGyn Hospitalist Director at Oaklawn Hospital in Marshall, Michigan.  She also serves on committees with the Ob Hospitalist Group and the American College of Osteopathic Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and recently chaired the National Conferences in 2024 and 2025.

She’s passionate about providing safe, patient-centered, physician-led care, and advocating for women who often feel unheard in the healthcare system.

When she’s not caring for patients or working on committees, you can find her on the trails, in the kitchen, traveling, or cheering at her kids’ events.

Her goal with the Online ObGyn is to help you feel heard, cared for, and empowered to reach your health goals.
